Hi guys, welcome back to my blog 🙂

I’m here with some updates on what’s been going on in my life!

Last week my squad and I got the opportunity to serve the people of Black Mountain, North Carolina. My team (Team Favor🤗) specifically got to work on this man named John’s house in Swannanoa valley. Hurricane Helen had ripped through these homes, destroying almost everything these people had. It was devastating hearing stories of people who actively had to escape and watch as the storm took it all. God’s hand is on that place, you can feel it. Although there was so much incredible loss, there is so much hope and I am so thankful that the Lord gave me the opportunity to be a small part of the restoration. We did construction and a lottttt of drywall. We surrounded his house in prayer and intercession, and I know the Lord has such a beautiful future for John. I’m grateful for him, and I can’t help but look to the Lord and thank him for what he’s done already. A verse that was on my heart the entire week was Psalm 23:6, “…and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” No matter what happens to our earthly homes and possessions, we have a heavenly place the Jesus is actively preparing for us. We can LIVE in His house today!

After we got back from North Carolina, we spent a week of debrief back at base. It was a really sweet week, full of rest, anticipation, preparation, and reflection on the last month of our lives. My team and I are growing a lot more the more we spend time with each other and learn about our hearts. Here’s all of the girls on my team:

Megan – my squad leader! We love Mother Megan with all our hearts.

Ellie – the brightest light, that’s what I describe her as.

Mia – the most thoughtful, loving, and crazy person all in one.

Gabrey – hilarious, and full of so so so much joy.

Meridyth – the most intentional sweet ball of sunshine I’ve ever met. She has a love for the father like I’ve never seen before.

Aaaand… Me 🙂

I’m exciting to make these girls my sisters and be students of the Lord together. We walk in the favor of the Lord, because of who he is, and the incredible amount of grace he extends.

Fast forward to today, we are off to our first country, Swaziland, Africa! I’m currently sitting in the Atlanta airport about to get on a 10 hour flight to Türkiye.  Funny enough, my birthday actually happened to land on the very day we leave America. Honestly it’s pretty surreal to think that I won’t be back here for 8 months. The journey really is exhilarating. I have so much anticipation for what’s to come.

Last Thursday night we had our last revival night and got commissioned as we get ready to go. It was probably one of the sweetest nights I’ve had all of this last month. I kind of talked about this in my last blog but over training there was a lot of times where I just got so frustrated with myself and to condition of my heart. Sometimes the Lord just really reveals so much about yourself that you’d been ignoring. It can be really frustrating. The enemy tries to tell me a lot that I’m not good enough to do this, that there’s too much I need to work on. But that’s never who the Lord calls. So I really am putting my life on a platter, saying over and over, here I am Lord. In all my brokenness. You can have everything I am, you can take me anywhere you want. Strip me, bring me through fire. Refine me like gold. There’s no part of me without you that I want to hold onto, I’ve seen how much destruction lies in that place. My prayer is that I will be driven by the wind of the Holy Spirit, because It is not I who lives, but really Christ in me. What a beautiful reality. This life I get to live with Jesus is so sweet.

Psalm 116 has been on my heart lately.

“For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”

I love my Abba.

Quick fundraising update:

I am currently 62% fundraised with $7,373 left to raise! It would mean the world if you or someone you knew would consider donating to further help me go to the nations and serve others. You guys have been such a blessing, and have already brought me this far. YOU are the reason I was able to go to North Carolina and do hurricane relief, and now able to go to Swazi. I’m beyond grateful for every single dollar and prayer that you all have extended, no matter the amount. If you want to give towards my mission, the link is below. ❤️

I will have very little service in Swazi, so I hope to have another blog out as soon as possible throughout my time there. I’m thanking you all endlessly for your steadfast care and support.
